Breakfast:
- V8
- Nutrigrain blueberry breakfast bar
- 3 small fish tacos w/ cabbage, salsa, gaucamole, sourcream
- side of fruit salad
- Handful of cashews
- Caprese salad (mozzarella, tomato, basil, balsamic vinegar)
- Chicken & potato w/ red curry
- Prawns & eggplant w/ sweet sauce
- White rice
:: Day 8 ::
Breakfast:
- Banana nut muffin
- 1/2 of a quarter pound hamburger w/ grilled onion and mushrooms
- 1/2 portion of french fries (I split lunch w/ Iris)
- cup of cream of broccoli
- Chicken & Potato w/ red curry
- Prawns & eggplant in sweet sauce
- White rice
:: Day 7 ::
Breakfast:
- Banana nut muffin
- 3 slices of quesadilla w/ whole wheat tortilla
- Pita chips w/ hummus
- Veggies and dip
- Tri-tip
- BBQ chicken leg
- Coleslaw w/ vinegarette dressing
- Pasta salad w/ bay shrimp
- 1 small scoop vanilla ice cream

Brunch:
- Half of a salad w/ ranch on the side
- Small chicken, mushroom, and garlic pizza
- 4 BBQ chicken wings
- 1 cup of salad w/ lettuce, tomato, avocado, cheese, creamy dressing
- 3 slices of pizza
- 1 glass of white wine
- 1 beer
- 1 slice of apple cake

:: Day 5 (Liam is a slacker) ::
Breakfast:
- Banana nut muffin
- Small burrito. Contained carne asada, beans, rice, cheese, gaucamole, sour cream, tomato, onion, and salsa. I'm also sure that it contained a helping of pure sin.
- 1/3 of a soft serve sundae from McDonalds
- SUSHI! A shload of nigiri, some baked mussels, oodles of rolls, seaweed salad, and 1 tempura shrimp.
- 1/3 bottle of unfiltered sake
- 1/2 of a large bottle of Sapporo (beer)

:: Day 4 ::
Breakfast:
No excercise today, other than hauling stuff out of storage (lifting weights?). We're preparing for our trip to LA, and want to leave first thing in the morning, so we're bustling to get whatever needs to be done, done.
- Toast w/ nonfat cottage cheese
- 1 hard boiled egg w/o yolk
- Fresh fruit (cantaloupe, pineapple, watermelon)
- Sushi! (5 pieces nigiri, 3 pieces california roll, 4 pieces spicy tuna roll)
- half-handful of cashews
- peach (so delicious)
- Baked scallops
- Leftover mac & cheese
- Salad w/ lettuce. tomato, avocado, oil and vinegar

Excercise
This evening I walked at a brisk pace around the local elementary school's track for 45 minutes, pushing Gray in the stroller. It's amazing how he doesn't go stir crazy. He's such a great kid.
I'll be changing up the format of the posts beginning tommorrow. I'll do a single post a day, instead of the separate meal/exercise posts.

Meals
Breakfast:
- 2 hard boiled eggs (only ate 1 yolk)
- Whole wheat toast w/ nonfat cottage cheese
- Half turkey sandwich (lettuce, grilled pepper, pepperoncini, mustard, mayo, whole wheat bread)
- Salad (lettuce, carrots, edamame, mushroom, cucumber, 5 croutons, oil & vinegar)
- Banana
- Handful of cashews
- Salad w/ lettuce, tomato, avocado, and oil & vinegar dressing
- Small fish filet (breaded and baked)
- mac & cheese (leftover from last night)
- 2.0 L of water

Excercise
Tonight I went to the Gym. I used the treadmill for 40 minutes, 10 consecutive minutes of which was at a run. 2 easy sets of bicep curls and overhead presses on the free weights.
Meals
Breakfast:
- Slice of toast, with nonfat cottage cheese
- Fruit (cantaloupe, pineapple, watermelon)
- 2 small soft tacos (steak, onion, tomato, salsa)
- Fruit salad (cantaloupe, pineapple, watermelon, honeydew)
- 2 bananas
- Brocolli, raisins, edamame, cucumber, melon, banana
- Grilled chicken breast
- Rice pasta macaroni w/ brussel sprouts, bacon, and cheese (seriously Iris? ;) )
- Brownie
- 1.5 liters of water

Excercise
Iris, Gray, and I walked for 40 minutes after dinner, at a brisk pace. Alright, technically Gray didn't walk, but he was present the whole time. ;)

- 1 slice of whole wheat toast w/ margarine
- fresh fruit (cantaloupe, watermelon, pineapple)
- small orange juice
- 1 small salad w/ artichoke heart, tomato, olive and red onion
- 4 falafel balls
- 1 toasted pita
- small nonfat milk
- Banana
- Shrimp taco (soft shell, guacamole, sour cream, cabbage, salsa, onions, peppers)
- Tiny bit of steak (2 oz?)
- Brownie
- 2 L of water

Today, on my 32nd birthday, I'm initiating this journey. I'll be posting regular updates on my progress, for family and friends to check-in and observe that I haven't slacked off. I'll do a weekly weigh in and photo update. So, here's where it all begins:
